Although all is already configured well, you can configure your graphic card (/etc/xorg.conf) and further on from any external partition by using any rescue system like the installed Knoppix too.
Typical Linux / typisch Linux: Just plug in the (maybe old) graphic card - ready ! / (Alte) Graphikkarte einfach reinstecken und fertig! Es geht bereits auch ohne Graphikkarte!
So for graphics, you do not have to install or configure anything! You just have to plug in such (almost elder) graphic-card resp. onboard IGP (intergrated graphic processor), in critical cases the vesa- or fbdev-driver gets detected automatically for installing the proprietary driver for many further graphic card driver from rpmfind.net or proprietary from manufacturer. / "Alte" Graphikkarte rein bzw. keinerlei Graphikkarte oder IGP: auf dem Mainboard integrierter Graphikprozessor, notfalls wird der vesa- oder fbdev-Treiber von selbst (automatisch) aktiviert, notfalls xorg über Knoppix (von der Knoppix-Rescue-Partition) konfigurieren
... und gleich loslegen!
Auch proprietäre Treiber können nun für viele weitere Graphikkarten von rpmfind.net oder Hersteller nachinstalliert werden!
